a mechanism to secure intellectual properties in-
tended to be synthetized in a FPGA from main providers (Xilinx, Altera, Laice and MicroSemi).
is SoClution protects the access to an encrypted
IP core as well as guarantee that FPGA antee a con-
venient and secure decryption and loading. is
device allows to remotely upgrade IP core loaded
in the storage device via one/different communi-
cation mechanisms (ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, ...). ...

Hence, this SoClution allows the following ba- sic behaviours (more than one behaviour may be present): 

 

 

  1. Deciphering of IP core in E2PROM / FLASH.

  2. Pairing capability with external storage con- trollers (E2PROM / FLASH) (”in the middle” flavour?

  3. Pairing capability with FPGA.

  4. Interface with FPGA.

  5. Secure API (POF loading, D/R, ...) to handle upgrading IP core/testing/debug over a con- venient interface (Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, ...)

  6. ... 

Security means Encryption. is unique SoClu- tion which unexpesively allows users to protect their valuable IP cores, makes use of Elliptic Curves Cryptography (ECC) algorithmic to han- dle negotiation and authentication and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithmic to handle encryption. (Also transparent flavours available).
