Abstract
This SoClution from DataTech S.D.A. [1] provides a mechanism to secure intellectual properties in- tended to be loaded on a microcontroller from a storage device. This SoClution protects the access to an encrypted IP core as well as guarantee that the microcontroller executes a convenient and se- cure decryption and loading. This device allows to remotely upgrade IP core loaded in the storage de- vice via one/different communication mechanisms (ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, ...).
Security means Encryption. This unique SoClution which unexpesively allows users to protect their valuable IP cores, makes use of Elliptic Curves Cryptography (ECC) algorithmic to han- dle negotiation and authentication and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithmic to handle encryption. (Also transparent flavours available).
