Abstract
๎is SoClution from DataTech S.D.A. [1] provides a mechanism to securely communicate a ”mes- sage” (set of digital signals, typically a set of GPIOs, but if the piece provides A/D capabilities, then set of analog signal should be also an option) over IP layer (there should be possible choosing between a TCP or UDP transmission).
๎e piece can also provide the complimentary be- havior: upon detection of appropriate TCP/UDP messages, produce the right signal excitation on the output interface (set of digital outputs plus DAC /PWM if present on the original IC).
Also it is possible to implement local behaviours, so, for instance, a change in a digital input may cause also a change in a digital output.
Hence, this SoClution allows following basic behaviours (more than one behaviour may be present):
1. Ethernet to Digital
2. Ethernet to Analog (future!) 3. Analog to Ethernet
4. Digital to Ethernet
5. Analog to Digital (local)
6. Digital to Analog (local)
7. Digital to Digital (local)
๎is unique SoClution can be parameterized to define convenient behaviours for a particular ap- plication, including filtering and masking mecha- nisms.
When using (at least) a pair of these SoClutions on end-points, then a new range of possibilities arise, as these pieces can be securely coupled to produce a collaborative behaviour to implement a certain functionality or establishing secure chan- nels.
Security means Encryption. ๎is unique SoClu- tion makes use of Elliptic Curves Cryptography (ECC) algorithmic to handle negotiation and au- thentication and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithmic to handle encryption. (Also transparent flavours available).
Should you need a variant of one of our unique So- Clutions not in our current public portfolio, do not hesitate to ask. We developed most flavours and vari- ants for all of our part numbers, and we DO welcome tailoring requests.
